About EPAD

EPAD was created in 2015 by Lucy Mason and Nicholas Bone of Mason Bone Projects. They continue to run the programme with Kate Taylor, together bringing their combined expertise in producing, mentoring and creative development to the project.

Lucy Mason is a freelance arts manager and trained mentor. Recent roles include Interim Chief Executive of National Theatre of Scotland and Artistic Director of the Arches (maternity cover). She was previously Chief Executive of Dance Base and Administrative Producer at the Traverse Theatre.

Nicholas Bone is a director and producer with a particular interest in artist development. He is Artistic Director of Magnetic North, an Edinburgh-based company that commissions, develops and produces new work.

Kate Taylor is a freelance producer and fundraiser working in theatre and music. Recent projects include Auld Lang Syne and Pulse by Mairi Campbell.

EPAD is based at the Festival Theatre and is funded by City of Edinburgh Council (CEC) as part of the Theatre Partnership. Its work receives in-kind support from many Edinburgh-based organisations, including Capital Theatres, Royal Lyceum Theatre and Traverse Theatre.
